Zero Service

My car was first booked in on 5 March at which point no work was done as there were no parts. It's understandable that the technicians would want to see the problem for themselves before ordering parts. I get it.

No one got back to me afterwards, after weeks of waiting. I needed to check back in with Toyota and was told the person I dealt with before had left. Did no one think to handle his workload?.

I was told to bring my car back on 8 April, more than a month later. I was assured the parts were ordered but at the end of that day I was told only the tailgate was fixed and that the wrong part was ordered for the safety belt. a Week later I was told to bring the car back on 29 April, followed by another message to say the parts orders are backed up and I need to bring the car in on 7 May. Then I get told, no bring it in on 14 May.... and now on 12 May I get this email, telling me once again that the wrong part was ordered and with no ETA.

On 1 May, I expressed my dissatisfaction, and noted that this was a safety issue seeing as I am missing a safety belt. The response I got was for me to contact the service manager. I also requested a loan car as this would be my third day without a car and by the looks of it not my last. My request was denied.

I expressed my dissatisfaction with the follow up call I received from your call centre and with an email to the service manager, parts manager and dealer principal. I am yet to receive a response. It's been a week since the escalation.
