Thank you Piet and Riaan- great after sales care

I've been servicing my vehicles with Nissan Menlyn for the past almost 9 years. And throughout that time, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Piet was initially assigned to assist me in the first few years, but in the last two years or so it has been Riaan. I can, without hesitation, say that both of these gentlemen have given me first rate service and it is one of the reasons I've held onto my Qashqai for so long and went on to purchase a Murano. I know that after sales service would be excellent and I would be fully taken care of. I also commend the technical team and foreman for their exellent assessments of my vehicles and even picking up on issues that, had they not picked up on, would have caused me far greater stress and money in the future. People ask me why I would still service a 2009 car at the dealership, when original parts are so expensive. My experience when servicing elsewhere has been that some of the other service providers sometimes cut corners and end up costing me more to fix what they have done wrong. So I rather pay the higher price to get the job done right the first price, than pay an even higher price for an incorrectly done cheaper repair. And so it is my intention to continue maintaining and servicing my vehicles at the dealership, no matter how old.

I must also put on record that for the first three years of my Qashqai's life, I serviced at the dealership where I bought it. Those three years were filled with nothing but trouble and grief with the dealership eventually telling me that my car was a mess and I should just sell it. But I could never shake off the sense that they were trying to take advantage of me as a female and were actually intentionally doing damage to the car. As soon as the service plan on the car expired I shipfted to Menlyn and it has been many happy and stress-free years since then; proving my theory correctly. So a big thank you to Piet, Riaan and the techincal team.

I am now in the market for a new vehicle again, and my first choices are Nissans and Renaults. Not because of the vehicles, but because of the assurance I have of good after sales service at Nissan Menlyn.
