Motorite is the WORST!

So, I've had an extended warranty policy with Motorite since 2021 when I bought my vehicle.

A lumpsum of about R20K was paid upon taking this police. I didn't claim for anything from 2021 until this year in March.

They took over a week to respond to the claim, I have to push them through calling, social media and sending them emails.

Eventually, they did respond and pay for part of the claim and I paid for the rest of the money which they did not pay.

In April, the car had to return to the same workshop for further repairs, and guess what....

My engine cover, covers me for R40K but yesterday, a consultant send me an email indicating that an amount of R3000 could be authorized. Yes, you read well, R3000, form the R40K cover.

I will be taking the matter to the insurance ombudsman for intervention. Remember when these people calls us and sell us their stupid posily, they tell us about how these policy will help us avoid stress that comes with vehicle mechanical failures.

But it appears that they are the ones causing their clients stress. I mean, what can one do with a R3K when the engine repairs cost R46K.

I regret taking this policy. Previously, I had policies with Innovation Group and NEVER had this problems. Good people, NEVER take any police from Motorite!

I went through the Motorite review and ALL of us have the same experience.

But I want to urge you guys to never allow these company to take you for a ride, never allow them to rip you off, with their false adverti*****t.

I will be writing to the ombudsman for intervention.
