Highly Recommended for Extended Warranty

I took an Extended Warranty of 3 years/60000km from Motovantage this month after expiry of my BMW Motor Plan and unfortunately my car broke down with engine overheating just after 1-2 week of policy inception. Took my car to the BMW workshop and got an invoice of R18000+ which included R6000 for battery replacement (surprisingly in the last 5 years there was no issue with the battery).

I was feeling embarrassed to contact Motorite as it happened just after 1-2 week of policy inception so I requested BMW to cover the cost as it just went out of warranty. After lot of discussion BMW said they will give discount on engine repair part, I'll have to cover shortfall of R5000 from my pocket and I have to replace/Claim Battery so I asked them to call MotoVantage/Motorite for Battery replacement and authorization came within 10 minutes for full amount that they quoted.

Even though I had to pay R5000 because BMW didn't come to the party to cover the full cost of repair, I'm so relaxed knowing Motorite/Motovantage have my back in future.
