Motorola lying and evading taken responsibility for false adverti*****t

I bought a motorola defy about 5 months ago. The phone claims that it can handle 1.5m underwater for 30 minutes. After my phone got submerged for 3 minutes in less than 1.5 meters and I dried it off... it stopped working. It gets worse from here. So I contacted motorola hoping to get some sort of explanation, some sort of compensation but instead, they firstly denied their own adverti*****t by saying the phone was water resistant not waterproof and they couldn't do anything. As soon as I sent them an image of their own website they ignore what they had previously said and continued as though they hadn't just **** to me. Please see image below.
