Worst Customer Service Ever/Bullying customers out of our money.
MFC is a true and honest joke, i have had my vehicle repossessed in June month due to 3 months non payment, i was then requested to pay R22 115 to reinstate my contract and collect my vehicle, i then had done so and got the money required, however my account was only in arrears for R12500 then i was told about repossession costs and this cost and that cost which brought the amount to R22115, i then paid the money, was told that my contract is now reinstated and went to collect my car, immediately after receiving my car i contacted MFC because i wanted a restructure on my account because i was unable to afford my installment hence my car getting repossessed, i then asked if they could increase my term from 72 months to 90 months because i was told by the employee of MFC who was handling my account when the car was taken by them that MFC now offers 90 months, so this would drop my installment and i could then possibly afford my installment again. i then received an sms from MFC on the 3 August 2019 saying that my account is in arrears with the amount of R3637.35 my initial installment was R4099 so the sms of R3637.35 is my thinking that MFC has increased my term to 90 months because now they not telling me that the arrears amount is R4099 which should have been on 72 months, me thinking its been increased to 90 months unfortunately could only pay R3000 towards my installment this month which would now leave me in arrears of R637.35 which i would cover with my next months installment. Today i am contacted by MFC saying my account is in arrears of R1327.35 of which i am liable for release fees and storage costs when my vehicle was repossessed, so if this is the case why was my contract reinstated then when i paid the R22115? shouldnt they have included that in the amount and i could have made provision for it just as i made provision to organise the entire R22115? I mean this is freaking frustrating and i dont have an email nor an sms confirming that my term has been lifted to 90 months or that i am in arrears with release fees and storage costs, i mean i dont even receive my monthly statements to my email which they confirm gladly everytime they call me, this is just unprofessional and quite frankly i am sick and tired of this ****, never dealt with a more unprofessional and non customer services orientated company than MFC. Please whoever reads this, if you have encountered a similar instance with MFC please voice your opinion because this company seems to be bullying people out of their hard earned money, then they call you and try and resolve this matter after you have written on hellopeter and i mean they read every damn thing i just said and now what the heck must i say to them over the phone, really disappointed, a consumer of an asset to the value of over R200 000 or any amount as a matter of fact should never be made to feel like a damn ********, instead they should be treating us golden, we that buy their products "cars" in turn are paying their salaries. what a bull **** company. on my way to be writing to the ombudsman, just thought i would put this out there because i know there are lots and lots of people experiencing a similar occurrence. Speak out People, Speak Out.
