Why not just include change of ownership in the deal!

Ok, so over all I didn't have the worst service in financing my vehicle through MFC, however after making my final payment and hearing nothing from them for two weeks as far as the next steps etc. I decided to call them, they confirmed that the vehicle was paid in full and that they can for an additional fee do the change of ownership for me... I find it ridiculous that after making in excess of R66000 from our arrangement they now want to charge me R400+ to do a change of ownership, surely this should be something that happens by default? Glad i'm done but disappointed in the greed of their operation.
