VIOLATION OF CONSUMER RIGHTS & HARASSMENT

My car is financed through MFC, last year i was on probation as teacher. i happened to go on maternity at the time of absorption and when new contracts were signed it was in preparation for the new year. In December i called MFC to make an arrangement to reduce installments because during the absorption process salaries are delayed for a maximum of 3 months. i was advised by a lady from the MFC call center that i could not make the such a request because my contract was younger than a year. unfortunately during January and February i received no income and neither did i get any form of communication from MFC. i was surprised when a guy by the name of Sam claiming to be a sheriff of the court gave me a call saying that i should pay R8000 cash to him or risk having my car repossessed. immediately i got a loan of R3000 so as to make an arrangement with MFC to not repossess. i paid the money and contacted MFC to make an arrangement to pay the rest of the money by 18 march, i got through to GUGU who was very rude.she directed me back to SAM who started harassing and making threats about tracking down my car and signing some unknown document that he refused to email. MFC please help.
