Unfair treatment

Hi everyone. Please help me to share my story. My car is financed by MFC decision of Nedbank and I paid the car very well for the period of two years. Life changed, the Lord blessed me with a beautiful daughter and I stayed with my wife.

My financials started to change and I ended being on debt review trying to keep with everything and things did not go accordingly because MFC terminated the contract with the debt review.

Things got worse as I received numerous number of calls from assigned debt collectors under MFC. They requested me to pay R15 000.00 or else they were going to take my vehicle and I tried to explain my financial situation and they could not understand. This was before my payday and they could not understand. I ended up borrowing the money that I did not have just to save my car and I struggled to repay the borrowed money.

While I was trying to repay the borrowed money, I could not keep up with my installment because my finances were not balancing and some other months I was not paying full installments. My account was again handed in to FDE debt collections in August 2025 and their consulted ordered me to pay an amount of R14 000.00 with immediate effect or else they will come and collect my car.

I acknowledged my debt to the lady from FDE debt collections and I requested her to make an arrangement to avoid that financial mistake that I made previously. The lady did not want to assist with any arrangement and she threatened to send people to take my vehicle. I then appointed a power of an attorney to mediate in this regard and the lady seemed to corporate with the process and she was sent documents by the attorney.

With that being said, my account was further handed to JP Solutions who made things worse with the highest level of unprofessionalism. Their male consultant phoned me with his personal number on the 1st of September 2025 telling me that he will send his guys to come and collect the car since I am not coorporating from day 1. I phoned my mediator about the matter and he phoned that consultant from JP solutions and everything seemed to cool off.

Today on the 9th of September around 10:30 unknown people came to my workplace and they claimed that they were sent by MFC to come and collect my vehicle in front of the staff. These two gentlemen embarrassed me in front of the learners wanting to take the car and my dignity was overshadowed. My reputation is now dented because of their negligence.

I immediately phoned the attorney who was assisting me and he phoned JP Solutions to ask about the incident. That consultant told my attorney that those guys were there just to confirm where they will serve me with court order. Those gents made a bold statements infront of my colleagues that they were there to collect the car and I refused to give the keys because they had no warrant from court.

Help me to expose MFC together with their debt collectors. As we speak my mind is not a good state because of what they have done to me. I am struggling to focus and I am an educator, my job needs me to be 100% mentally healthy. My family still loves me, my daughter looks up to me and now I am going through much stress because of that humiliation.
