After 20 years of not paying maintenance, my ex husband Anil Amratlal, bought a car from MFC for our daughter to use to travel to varsity. Recently he began demanding the car back. When I refused, he then sent a bogus cop to my house to repossess the car but I did not hand the car over and instead called the police. Lately I have been receiving calls from MFC staff members claiming that my ex has surrendered the car so they need to come and collect it. I was surprised to be contacted by MFC since I don't have any legal contract with them. I told them that it is ********* for them to call a third party. Yesterday I received a call from Morne van Zyl saying he is from MFC and wanting to enter into an agreement with me. He proceeded to involve additional people in the matter. These are the name of the people who have been in touch with me from MFC: Sithembiso Mayekiso, Tracey Lee Lord Charlton, Francis Whyte Anderson and Paul McKenzie. In my experience this is the first time a bank has ever got in touch with a third party regarding an outstanding payment. I told them to follow the correct legal process to retrieve the vehicle and stop harassing me.
