Unauthorized refinancing of Balloon payment

MFC refinanced my balloon payment without permission. They said that they sent me a quote on 7th September, and seeing as I didn't respond, they just proceeded with a revised contract. I never received this alleged quote and have already made arrangements to pay the balloon in full. It's ******* to arrange finance without my permission. Not even a single phone call to find out. The email notifying me of refinancing was received by me on a public Holiday, also sneaky way of getting away with it.
