Title: MFC Nedbank – Unfair and Manipulative Debt Review Termination!

I am absolutely disgusted by the way MFC Nedbank Car Finance handled my debt review process. I app**** for debt review through DebtBusters in good faith, hoping to resolve my financial obligations responsibly. Instead of cooperating or even communicating with me or my debt counsellor, MFC chose to stay silent for the entire 60-day period — only to come back after the deadline and inform me that the process has been terminated and my account handed over to legal collections.

This is nothing short of manipulation. They deliberately avoided communication, giving me and my debt review brokers NO chance to respond, clarify or engage. Their behaviour completely undermines the purpose and spirit of debt review, and in my view, it is ethically wrong and legally questionable.

MFC, you failed to act in good faith. You’ve disrespected my rights as a consumer and pushed me toward legal threats instead of a fair, structured resolution. Consumers, be warned — this is how they treat people who try to do the right thing!
