The Deceased Estate Department are Dead Inside!
If you are a parent/guardian financing your child's car for them, beware, if you were to pass, you child will have to grieve you and fight for an account number to continue making monthly payments. Took 3 months for me to get this account number - then the vehicle was in arrears even though this was exactly what I wanted to avoid.
My vehicle was settled in January. I explained I needed my NaTis before May 2022 so that I can initiate a change of ownership and renew my license disc - I asked this in February 2022.
In June 2022, I found myself crying in my car outside of the traffic department because I had not received my NaTis from MFC and there was nothing the traffic department could do until I had it.
Took 6 months for 1 piece of paper to be couriered.
@Parents/Guardians these are not the traumatic things you discuss with us as your children, but I urge you to please talk to your kids, so they can avoid all this trauma and inconvenience in the event this happens.
@MFC I know you see this every day and you may be desensitised to it, but please understand we are going through the most deepest, inevitable and unavoidable pain life has to offer.
MFC definitely intensified my pain and put my grieving on hold for the sake of an account number and a NaTis. One could have been emailed, the other couriered within 2-3 working days.
Burying our loved ones is hard enough. Please... just respond to our emails - that's all we ask of you.
