I'm experiencing with MFC regarding my vehicle financing. My current settlement amount is R62,000, and I've found another bank willing to settle the account on my behalf. However, MFC is refusing to provide a settlement letter, citing that the account has been handed over to their legal team.
I believe this is unfair, as the issues with my account stem from errors accumulated during the COVID-19 period, when we were granted a payment holiday due to financial difficulties.
MFC is now citing these issues, including the default that occurred in November and December 2025, despite my having made minimum payments in January.
I have a bank willing to settle the account, and I'd like to request that MFC provide the necessary settlement letter to facilitate this process. I'm willing to cooperate and provide any necessary information to resolve this matter amicably.
I urge MFC to reconsider their position and work with me to find a solution. I'm available to discuss this matter further and provide any additional information required.
