Safps listing

I was a victim of ***** in 2010 when my id was ******, they tried to apply for car finance on my name but because i worked for the bank we picked it up. My work ask me to report my Id ****** and write out a affidavit that it was not me that app**** for the vehicle finance which i did. 10 years later i app**** for finance and i was decline reason was that Mfc listed me for Safps. I called Mfc to ask that they removed the listing and was told to get all original documents of 10 years ago ? I was the victim but I'm getting treated as a ********. Why is it always that the victims gets this treatment.
