******* running the bank
As a young adult, climbing the mining professional ladder I purchased a car out of necessity. When I couldn’t afford to keep the car in 2022 as I was paying for my studies to get a promotion.
I surrendered the car back to mfc early 2023. Where I managed to get the job end of January 2024. I contacted mfc to find out what happened to the car. To my luck the car was not sold, not up for auction yet and I engaged in talks to settle it in full and get the car back.
That’s when I saw the evil of the banking system take form. By mentioning I wanted to settle, I waited a month for a settlement letter which was +-R200k and a few days to gather that amount. While arranging this payment (no one has 200k just laying around) the car was put up for auction in this period, “sold” when I pushed for documentation stating this I waited 2 weeks until I logged a complaint. All of a sudden the car was not sold and given 1 day to pay 200k.
Now end of march after making all the arrangements, the car has been sold for +-40k and told to wait another 2 Weeks for them to “process” the paperwork and still bounded to the shortfall.
