RESTRUCTURE AMENDMENT FEE - A WAY FOR MFC TO RIP YOU OFF

MFC have loaded my account with a restructure amendment fees of R53 722.36

I have asked for clarity on this and have not received any feedback in this regard? If you are unable to give me the clarity I require please as requested previously refer me to the person that can.

I am a paying customer and deserve a timeous and honest response from you as a service provider.

I need clarity on the below:

1. Why was the restructure amendment fee added?

2. How was the fee calculated?

3. What communication was made to me as a client to advise me that a substantial amount of R 53 722.36 is going to be added onto my account?

4. How can it be justified to add on an amount of any quantity to an account of someone undergoing financial constraints without any notification?

5. If the fee was calculated over a certain period what was that period?

Why does the restructure amendment fee not feature in all statements? Why is it not reflected in the repayment schedule that was provided by MFC

As mentioned to you on email and during our telephonic conversation I am being proactive in trying to settle my debt, in light of the current GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS there should be some sense of leniency and mercy shown to clients that are still making payments towards their debt.

As indicated previously if you are unable to provide me with these answers then kindly refer me to someone that can assist.

I am sure that you will agree that an amount of R53 722.36 is a large amount and I have every right to get the clarity that is needed.

Have not received a response yet!

The response I have received from MFC is less than desirable.
This issues has been ongoing since 4 November 2020

Car was financed as per the attachments sent @ 530 842.32 in august 2013 [with interest]

| Payments made 2013 | 78127.50
| Payments made 2014 | 89 690.37
| Payments made 2015 | 55 295. 45
| Payments made 2016 | 118 500
| Payments made 2017 | 91 000
| Payments made 2018 | 49 366.79
| Payments made 2019 | 48 000
| Payments made 2020 | 90 500.00
| Total: | R 620 480.11
That is the total amount paid to date, with a further “R42 601.34” that is “outstanding”

What from that figure is capital and what is interest?

The term was increased from 23 to 62 months, which is 39 additional months? We are now 34 months into that period and if I look at my last statement dated 21 August 2020 it states my final installment date would be 1 November 2022, that is adding on another 24 months?

As per your email, Nedbank sent me a notification of withdrawal from debt review? I did not receive any further notifications to state that I am now back under debt review from Nedbank. So it stands to reason I am not in debt review and I should resume my normal payments, if there is anything still due.

Has there be a full financial analysis of my account as requested?

I have reattached the settlement letters here for you to review and advise me why is there such a big discrepancy on the settlement balances.

According to the calculations I have made this account is paid up and I should be issued with the relevant documentation.

MFC have evaded my questions from the very beginning and have refused to meet with me to discuss this personally.

The staff employed take forever to respond to emails, they are vague and they also invade your personal time by calling after hours.

Never finance a car with MFC they are dishonest and evade direct questions that could expose them for who they actually are!!!
