Payment holiday *******

As you would know, during lock down it was no work, no pay. I app**** for a payment holiday, which was approved. Now after everything has settled and my debit order was deducted, my premium went up with R500 rand. (still feeling the after effect of Covid) After questioning MFC, the answer was that the arrears was divided and added to my monthly premium. My question: why couldn't they extend my contract with 3 months and keep my premium the same. I can't afford the extra R500
