Pathetic service from MFC

MFC is now another financial institution to avoid at all cost. My finance contract with MFC state that my instalments should be deducted on the 25th of each month but according to MFC this is merely a suggested date. So when the 25th falls on a weekend or public holiday they will deduct the instalment before the 25th as they do not work over weekend. “I didn’t know activating debit orders is still a manual process at MFC” I then requested in writing to have my payment method changed from a debit order to an EFT, imagine my surprise then Care Team declined this request. Reason for the decline is that the penalties (R10) I incur from my bank every time MFC debits my account a day or 2 before the contract date (25th) is not a valid reason to change the payment method. The penalties are also not their concern. I then phoned the call centre “MFC Care” the irony is not lost, requesting that the debit date be moved to the 30th of each month. To this I was informed that they cannot move it that far from the contract date (LOL) and any date after the original contract date (max 2 days) will incur additional interest. This is really bad MFC and a sure way of losing customers, I for 1 will avoid dealing with you in the ever again.
