Pathetic Service Consultants

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my ongoing experience with MFC, which has been both distressing and deeply disappointing. In November last year, I encountered an issue where incorrect banking details were captured on your system, resulting in my installment not being processed. After raising this matter, I was informed that the error was not my fault. Despite this acknowledgment, the interaction I had with the consultant at the time was extremely unpleasant, marked by a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated incident. In February, repeated attempts were made to process a DebiCheck on my account, despite me clearly communicating that my bank does not support DebiCheck. As a result, my installment was once again not processed. I took the initiative to make a manual payment on the 5th of March after speaking to a consultant, and I promptly sent through proof of payment. I received no acknowledgment of this submission. Instead, I was later contacted and informed that my account had been handed over and that I was now liable for R200 in legal fees, despite my efforts to resolve the matter proactively. Today’s interaction has been the most distressing of all. I received multiple calls from MFC, and earlier in the day I requested that I be contacted at a later time, as I had just received the devastating news that my mother had passed away. Despite this, I was contacted again by a consultant named Azari(he refused to give me his surname, saying that he alreadygave him his name and the name of the company he is calling from so there is no need for his surname). During this call, I explained that I was grieving and not in a position to engage. Rather than responding with empathy or understanding, he became increasingly aggressive, dismissing my explanation and repeatedly insisting that I had missed my November installment. At no point during this interaction was my emotional state acknowledged, despite me clearly being in distress. This lack of compassion and professionalism is unacceptable, especially under such circumstances. All my calls with MFC are recorded, and I am making these recordings public to highlight the manner in which customers are treated.
