No details captured for written off vehicle

I was involved in a car accident where my car was written off in May 2016. I sent through correspondence to inform MFC that the car was written off. I also I formed them that they must please deregister the vehicle as it was written off and sent correspondence which was not captured... I was under the impression that everything was done. My Webmail account was deleted by Webmail, but the lady that was dealing with it no longer works for the company. I am now sitting with outstanding licensing fees for over R5 000 which I cannot pay as I am unemployed.
