NO ASSISTANCE FROM CALL CENTRE

I struggle since 9 January 2017 to pass the MFC call centre to enable me to speak to the collections department to make the necessary arrangements for repayment on our vehicle finance account. Until date no luck at all.

Back ground. My husband was retrenched in August 2016 and until January 2017 never missed any instalment on his car finance and this is already his 2nd finance with MFC. On request in October 2016 they freeze the instalment for 3 months but never informed us that if they do that they see this at refinance of the account. If we were informed properly we would rather choose that the whole finance account be refinance so that the instalment will reduce which make it more affordable for us as my husband's income of R18 000 is not longer there after his retrnechment. His only income is UIF for 6 months. My income of R14 700 is our only permanent income and I cannot afford to pay our Nedbank home loan in the amount of R7 511, my car finance R2 460 as well as his car instalment of R4 266. If all that is paid then there is no income available for living expenses, any other debt or fuel consumption for the month. So you see we would then rather choose the refinance option upon the 3 month freeze.

We could not pay the January 2017 instalment and I just have EFT payment the February 2017 instalment but I need to make arrangements to pay back the arrears instalment of January 2017 with the collections department because I cannot reach them at all as the call centre refuse to give me the email or any contact number for MFC collections.

I furthermore need to cancel the debit order instruction on the account with immediate effect as the UIF signing and payment dates vary from month to month so we cannot commit on a certain date and we need to avoid unneccesary waste of our income as every cent is valuable at this stage.

Can you please, as a matter of urgency assist us and give us the contact details of collections to enable us to arrange repayments and the cancellation of debit order until further notice? Your kind assistance will be appreciate with this issue as well as the reversal of the unpaid cost debited to his cheque account.

Please also advise why there was 3 instalment debited to his cheque account? We really do not understand this issue as he is only one month in arrears and the 2nd month was payable on 28 February 2017 but was paid today via EFT.

Await urgent feedback.
