Nedbank - Gang of *******

I was ********** by the recent car loan ****. I rep**** to an e-mail saying I was interested in applying for a discounted rate on a new car (in return for advertising on the car). I never signed any formal agreement with them requesting that they apply for a loan on by behalf. The next thing I knew was that my car had arrived and that if I id not sign the agreement I owed them R26'000 - so I had no choice. Nedbank essentially approved a loan I never formally app**** for.

Six years later I have paid up that loan, but they are refusing to release the ownership papers.

I was retrenched three years ago and had to manually make installments every month as I was working odd jobs to make ends meet (with a little help from my friends). Never once did they request a proof of payment document (POPs) for any of these payments. But now that the loan is paid up, they are wanting these - despite the fact that the payments are reflecting on the monthly statements they send me every month.

I downloaded the two relevant POPs from my online account (one for R7'000 and that last one for R6'000), the two statements indicating that the payments were received, as well as a settlement statement showing they owe me R600/R800 as I paid in too much. But they are still refusing to send me my ownership documents.

Were they hoping they could take my money and ***** my car?

Sorry Nedbank, I am not going to let you!!!!!!!!!!
