Natis Papers.... MFC

I have completed my payment with MFC in full in 2013/2014. I was not in DBN and requested my Bro inlaw to collect the log book of which he did and no transferring documents were given with the log book, since then I sold the vehicle and had no indications that I had to request the transferring documents from MFC to complete the change of ownership. I now have bought a new vehicle and when i went to transfer this onto my name I am told at the licencing office that the vehicle is still on MFC name, frustrated I contact MFC, they email me back saying that they have contacted the licensing office and I have outstanding license fees since 2015. I have sold the vehicle.... My partner contacts MFC speak to the complaints manager Elaine who says that they still have the original log book and will only release once the fees are up to date... *** are you kidding me

I have contacted the person I sold the vehicle to but he now sold it to someone else of which i have to track down and get the log book that i was given by MFC to prove that i was given the log book but without the transferring documents...

Why should I have requested transferring documents when the vehicle is paid in full, MFC should put this vehicle onto my name as it doesnt belong to them... Surely there should be a department who handles paid up accounts and makes sure that the full process is complete (contact buyer confirming payment has been made in full and where can we now send the original log book and transferring documents, also confirming the process and time frame)

If a payment is not made they are taking steps immediately and if more than 3 months arent paid then they are aware and making sure they pick up that vehicle... how come when a consumer becomes the sole owner they arent on top of this. its been 4 years + and if we didnt contact MFC they would of kept quite and left the vehicle on their name.... but I am responsible for the licence fees up date...

So i get an email stating that they now delivered the papers and the transferring docs where with it.. how and to who????????????? One person says its still with them and I will get it once the fees are paid up another sends an email saying it was delivered?????????????? Good day Naresh Please accept my apology for coming back to you only now. Please note that we did sent your complaint to our securities department to investigate and assist and they advised as follows: · The matter was investigated with the Licensing department and we were advised that this vehicle is still listed on MFC and Mr Chinnilall’s name. · They informed us that the vehicle has outstanding License Fees since 2015 for an amount R2414.95. Please note that when we delivered the original documents to you they came with the change of ownership forms. You were supposed to complete the forms, and go to the licensing department to do the change of ownership to your name. The Bank does not do this for you. Please note that you will have to arrange with the third party that you sold the vehicle to, to settle the license fees, change the vehicle from us as title holders and you as the owner to them being both title holder and owner. Kind regards
