motor application decline

I purchase a vehicle through mfc in 2014, my vehicle was paid up last month and now that I app**** for finance agen through mfc my application was decline reason be is that my credit score is low as mfc told me and due to failed application attempts, I decided to check my credit score on itc and it shows that my credit score is good I'm confused now and ****ed off, does it not count in my favour that my vehicle is paid up before the time.
