MFC vehicle repossession

I had a car which was financed by MFC. The car was repossessed on the 08/06/2015 since I was behind with 2 months on my instalments because of unexpected financial curves. Coincidentally they took the car when I was about to pay them. My concern now is feedback or updates about the repossession processes, no one is contacting me. However I called them and they did not even listened to me instead they asked if I want my car back so there was nothing for me to say other saying yes cause it seemed like I was waiting time. So I ended up being told of the steps to follow if I need it back. When I do the maths after that call I realised that I won't be able to get that car back since there were other charges mentioned beside the late payments then I decided to give it up and use the money I have reserved for them. I decided to live with the fact that I do not have a car now but they still owe me at least the explanation of how the repossession process is gonna be so that I will be able to plan in advance.
