MFC Vehicle Fianace doesnt bother with clients but worry more about profit!!!!!!!!! Stay away from them!

Dear Admin

Please see my cry! On the 29 June 2020 I left my office (based in Cape Town CBD) very late at night for home. As I was headed home off ramp on the N2 approximately 35 minutes before I reach my destination I noticed a heavy black smoke coming out of my car bonnet, luckily I was approaching the traffic lights to stop and investigate. To my surprise I noticed that my car was burning because I was in the middle of nowhere my motor vehicle burned beyond recovery. The following day of the 30th 2020 I called MFC call centre number and spoke to consultant (lady) making MFC aware that my motor vehicle burned beyond recovery out of nowhere coming from late at work just off ramp the N2 highway road of the previous night of the 29th June 2020. I wanted solutions from the finance house (MFC) since I had just cancelled my car insurance recently, due to the fact that I had to channel the insurance money that I was paying, to pay for other important things for my family needs as am the only bread winner at home currently. The call was lodged and completed with the lady consultant and she advised me that she will refer the matter to their legal division via electronically. I tried to make a follow up about 4 days after my last call to their call centre and was advised that my matter is still pending with the MFC legal division, I continued to make a follow up by calling them to find out as to how far are they with regards to my matter. And a gentlemen alternatively gave me an office number ***) to call and make follow up with Mr Anthon Paulsen, who happens to be a superior within your legal division. The gentlemen asked for my identity number to see but according to him nothing has been escalated to them still and he advised me to call back the call centre number ***) to make them aware about the matter once more”. Fast forward, I escalated the matter with their group CEO Mr Mike and advised him pertaining the matter and the after my complaint with Nedbank CEO, I was assigned 2 individuals Ms Lebo Japhta (Executive Service Support) who is said to facilitate in this regard and Mr Ashley Piers (Team Leader) who both don’t show the necessary skills to do something successfully!!!!!! I had to continue to escalate email of complaint to their CEO Mr Mike on 2 different episodes cause they seem to deliberately prolonging the process, and the CEO Mr Mike would all times take up my matter back with these two to deal with even though I would clearly indicate on email that I refuse to be assisted by them lot. They don’t have the ability to see to the client needs, and they lack urgency! After forwarding another second email to their CEO, the second last email I receive from Mr Ashley was that “Good day

I have just spoken to our post write off department. If the client cannot afford the current instalment we can conclude an arrangement to pay at least R2k per month . All unearned interest will be suspended. Because there is no asset we have to move to the account to the relevant department. Should the client apply for other finance the current MFC account will reflect as a write off on the clients credit profile. Some creditors may see this as a negative impact when applying for new finance. The client can reply to this mail if he accepts the arrangement and acknowledge the impact such will have on his credit profile”.

Thank you This email I received from Mr Ashley on the 06/08/2020, to which I rep**** and approve for the post write off of the debt of the vehicle to take place. And also this was the last email sent by Mr Ashley to me “Good day

I will forward the account for management approval for same to be transferred, will advise who has been allocated to the account and will provide you with the contact number to make the necessary arrangements.

Please allow me time until tomorrow or Wednesday the latest for final feedback as to who has been allocated.

Thank you

Which did not take place obviously, while the vehicle instalments are still going off as per norm for past two months already after empty promises and emails sent even to the highest authority. I can not help but to think that this matter is being deliberately prolonged and that they are for profit first than of its customers needs.
