MFC threatening to repossess my car.

Iam on debt review....how ever i skipped payment due to resignation at work bcos i had to move from one place to onother due yo unforeseen circumstances nd unfortunately i cudnt get transfere.. i made my debt counselor aware of the problem nd send them necessary documents. By the grace of God i got another job nd made them aware that i can now resume with my payments..however MFC is now threatening to repossess my car without even giving the option of payments even though iam willing to pay them back..is dat how things are done? Iam so devastated
