MFC think before you act

I am an MFC client. I exited debt review and without notification, MFC increased my installment. I was only alerted to this when I received an sms notification that I was in arrears. I immediately called MFC, the agent advised me that since my balloon payment was due I should request for this to be refinanced and include the arrears amount.

I followed the agent's instructions to the letter. I was presented with an addendum to the agreement, which included the balloon payment and arrears amount. I signed the agreement and started paying the installment. A few days later I start receiving letters of demand for the very arrears amount that is in the agreement.

Despite numerous calls, emails - one set of agents say they understand where I am coming from and 1 agent says the arrears amount is not included in the agreement (which is in writing). Nobody bothers to call me to offer a reasonable explanation nor do they put it in writing.

This entire situation is driving me mad, as I want to resolve it but all I get is letters of demands for R4200 that is the "new finance agreement"

Solution: MFC please realize that you are dealing with real people, not robots Double dipping is *******, you can't expect me to pay arrears amount and it is included in the addendum agreement Not answering my calls or emails is unacceptable
