MFC - The WORST when it comes to after sales service!

In 2010 I purchased an offraod motorbike for my husband and financed it through MFC, the account was paid up in 2014. I was unaware that I had to request the origional registration documents from them. Every year I just paid the licensing fees and kept them up to date.

Beginning of September 2016 the motor bike was ******. My insurance company requires me to deregister the motorbike before they will pay out my claim.

I have been to the licensing department three times to try have this matter resolved. It was then that I discovered that the motorbike was still registered on MFC's name. I contacted MFC and requested the origional documents be sent to me, which they did. I returned to the licensing department only to be told that the motorbike is already on their system as ******, so they cannot do the change of ownership and that only MFC can do such.

I contacted MFC to request they assist in this matter. I was first told that I need to send the origional registration documents back to them, which I did via courier and they acknowledged receipt thereof. They then told me that there would be costs involved. I requested banking details so that I could do a transfer. A week later I mailed again. The lady told me that she was sorry she didn't reply to my mail but she was busy with an office function! Really? Does no work occur when they have a function? She then proceeded to tell me that they will not do the deregistration as the account has been settled and closed. She indicated that I need to request the "******" mark lifted from the system and do the change of ownership, this after I'd already told her that the lisencing department CANNOT help me!

I feel that MFC is now actually "*****ing" money from me with their unwillingness to help me with the deregistration. How does this woman expect me to finalise this matter? She is extrememly slow in responding to her emails and has a don't care attitude towards me.

Good Day Renee
