MFC- the worst finance company ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Day,

I am thoroughly unimpressed with MFC. I purchased my vehicle in 2016, I missed one debit order and Mfc sent out an external debt collector to attach my vehicle . He did not have a Court order when he came to do this and I did not know at that time that it was ******* to do so as I am young and not too clued up on the law, to which they took full advantage.

Trying to get a hold of anyone as well to assist is nearly impossible and frustrating.

In early 2018 i went under debt review and was later retrenched in June 2018. I communicated this to them as well as my other creditors and my debt counselor as well. I was advised to keep up with the payments as my car could still be repossessed which my parents helped me to do while i look for employment.

I did pay off and on as I was being assisted and MFC then attached my vehicle on a weekday and 17:30 pm in January 2019 WITHOUT a court order once again and no copy of the inspection either. There was a lot of back and forth before i got a hold of someone to assist and the delay in the booking of my car did not help. When payment was made i had to wait for almost 2 days before getting my car and spent the whole day at the auctioneers to fetch my car because i was told they do not release vehicles while an auction is carrying on which added to my frustration.

In April 2019 I was harassed again by MFC's external debt collector, he harassed my mum at her work place and her colleagues as well as made allegations against my mums boss. His name is MR VENTER COENIE. I find it so strange that the same debt collector has come all the time to repossess my vehicle.

I emailed MFC as we were making payments so why were we harassed but no one responded ie Itumeleng Mokhaba and Barend Van De Merwe. We paid the full amount owing at the end of April 2019 but on 6 May 2019 i received sms's stating my account is in arrears again yet the installment for May was only outstanding. Then a week later i get a letter via email stating my acc is in arrears for R3242.88 and my installment as per my order granted is R2485.00.

When i sought legal advice and copied my attorney in the mail to mfc it was amazing how quick they responded and how the tune changed,

The extra amount added to the installment for May 2019 is interest and a fee for the external debt collector, why am i being charged these extra amounts????

I am under debt review because I am finding it difficult to pay the installment and now MFC adds on all these other fees.

I have found employment and emailed to say I will be paying monthly as per my court order but i am not happy and am seeking legal advice and will be taking MFC up to the Ombusman.
