MFC Sold My Information?

Received SMS's, calls and emails from Motor Happy / Liquid Capital regarding my contractual requirements to have my vehicle insured at all times with MFC. The consultant mentioned my current vehicle details financed with MFC.

Did MFC sell my information to Motor Happy / Liquid Capital? MFC confirmed in an email that they do not have Motor happy as part of our underwriters.

See email below received from Motor Happy:

18-March-2019 Mr Andre Van Coller Dear Mr Andre Van Coller MFC Account Number: [Account no], #ASSET.VEHMAKE# #ASSET.VEHYEAR# #ASSET.VEHMODEL# We would like to bring to your attention that upon entering into the credit agreement with MFC, it was a requirement that the above mentioned vehicle be comprehensively insured at all times for an amount not less than your outstanding obligation with an accredited insurer of your choice. We also may require written proof thereof, including proof that you have paid all premiums. We are now exercising our rights stated within the credit agreement to request said proof. Please provide such proof to ********** within 14 days. Should you require any additional information please do not hesitates to either contact us or our approved insurers to assist further Kind regards
