MFC - Settlement and Natis documentation

I first submitted my application for the Natis document for my vehicle on 02/02/2022. I was then advised that this would take 7-10 days in an email back from MFC on the 03/02/2022. In the same email I was then asked to provide proof of settlement (paid 18/01/2022) which was provided on 08/02/2022. The case was then referred to their legal and collections department (to Henry Masima).

I was sent an email on 04/04/2022 which advised that I still owed R20,784.21 with a settlement amount of R9,487.67 which left me bewildered, as the settlement was negotiated and paid on 18/01/2022. I have since received communication that my account has been settled in full.

I purchased the vehicle in 2015 and I have not had any issues with MFC up until now. How is it, that a finance house can take a day or two to finance a vehicle, but when it comes time to review a settlement and provide the documentation it is almost at the 3 month mark and there is no clear indication when this will be sorted out.
