MFC: Response falling on tone-deaf ears.

Hi, my name is Lukas A Edwards. I had financing with MFC. Everything went great. I settled my entire finance agreement, timeously every month, and even at least 24 months earlier than the original agreement. We shook hands and parted ways.

Unfortunately, a Mr. Johannes A Nel also opened a finance agreement with MFC for his VW Amarok. This gentleman is NOT honoring his agreement with MFC and has fallen behind on payments. The problem being, he listed MY CellPhone number with MFC when opening the account. No due diligence!!! MFC has been phoning me, sending me SMS messages for more than 6 months now. Every time I have to explain that I am NOT Mr. Johannes A Nel and that they will never communicate with him on this particular number. My number for more than 25 years. I have begged the Debt Collectors to remove my CellPhone number from the account linked to Mr. Johannes A Nel, but to no avail. Either MFC is *********** or the Debt Agency they use is ***********, but they continue to make contact with me.

Can MFC, not the *********** Debt Agency, contact me. We can then access my old and successfully closed account, verify the CellPhone number and then MFC can PLEASE remove my CellPhone number from the account linked to Mr. Johannes A Nel.

It cannot continue like this. If MFC is serious about recovering their financial losses from Mr. Johannes A Nel, they should head this call.
