MFC (Rene Schluter) - Refuses to provide proof of liability

<p>My brother has received a number of calls to advise him that money is owing to MFC for non payment of his account. When he finally got a hold of Rene, who is the only one with access to his account, she took 4 days to provide him with a standard MFC monthly statement (Thursday 26/05/2016). This after she gave him 3 different amounts as being outstanding. They threatened him that his car would be repossessed if the money was not paid by the 28th of May. When we finally received the statement we paid the full amount showing as outstanding, which by the way did not match any of the amounts she claimed was outstanding. Now she has sent him an email stating that she "we are not going to send you the invoice" for the additional legal fees she says it outstanding, she will also not provide him with an updated statement showing the legal fees. How can they claim that money is owing if they refuse to provide any proof of the liability, either in the front of an invoice or an updated account statement showing the legal fees owing? Now she refuses to release the account while an amount is owing, yet she cannot provide anything to confirm the liability other than an email, from herself.</p>
