MFC - Pay Us For Nothing

I have been with MFC since I bought my second hand vehicle in 2015. I also have a Service Pan with them as well as an Extended Warranty.

I have 2 Issues that have now arisen:

1. I amended my Debit Order Details last month (Changed the bank account that MFC take their money from) and I see on my statement I have been charged R2,323.45 for a "Restructure Amendment - Debit". I was certainly not informed that I would even be charged for something so ridiculous and certainly not an amount of over R2**** This needs to be credited back to my account.

2. I have an extended Warranty and now have been advised by Suzuki that I need to replace my clutch. This will cost me nearly R10,000.00 out of Warranty. (Lucky for me I have Warranty right?) Apparently, only after the Clutch has been removed and inspected witll MFC consider Approving the Claim. Meaning, if for whatever creative reason they find not to pay it (Even though I have never a missed a single payment for my vehicle finance , the service plan as well as the Warranty) I will have to fork out R10K (which I dont have, and exactly my reason for takign out the Warranty) I will not get my vehicle back till that amount is paid.

How is this even considered by MFC as acceptable? We as customer fork over so much money and place out trust in you as a company, which by the way advertises that you will take care of us, cover us etc, but when it comes down to it, are ready to throw us under the preverbial bus when we need to put a claim in.

I was informed that the vehicle was late for its first couple of services (not in my control as this is a second hand vehicle) MFC should know this as I financed the vehicle through them directly too. Also, I was informed that the clutch may be damaged due to something other than wear and tear.......please explaint o me what these reasons could possibly be.

Suzuki experts informed that it is perfectly normal for the clutch to be replaced around the 120,000km service. They also informed mem that they have never heard of these above excuses before from a Warranty.

All im asking is for what I pay for to be delivered to me a customer as well as to give me back money that was taken from me for Amending Banking Details.

I have attempted several times to contact the Call Centre, but If I ever do get through to someone I only ever get transferred (eventhough I have contacted the correct number, followed the IVR prompts to get to the correct department or even called the Warranty Claims department directly. Most of these calls range from 40 mins to over an hour of waiting....

PLease call me ASAP

Regards
Siska
