MFC is a bunch of ****mers
I write this in utmost shock and disbelief of what MFC wants from me. Earlier on in the year I had asked to make payment arrangements to cover the arrears I have on my account. I asked to have the arrears added to my outstanding loan amount or to extend the term with the number of months I owe MFC which was 2 months at the time I spoke to the consultant. The consultant blatantly refused and told me that my car would be repossessed and she dropped the call. I then had another consultant deal with my matter who also refused to help me with payment arrangements stating that because I am on the last year of my finance then no further arrangements can be made on the account. Now, it is not that I do not want to pay MFC, I am willing to pay hence I have been making small payments towards the account and not skipping any month, I am very surprised that I received an email and SMS demanding that I pay R61 374.04 or else the vehicle should be returned. I only have arrears of R11526.92 so why do I need to pay R61000??? Why is MFC refusing to make arrangements? Where is it stated in the contract I have with that I cannot make arrangements in the last year of the finance? Is it because I am a black individual that you have to treat me in such a way, after 5 full of years of paying and meeting the payment every month? I have a white colleague with the same situation as mine and MFC was happy to help him with a payment plan/arrangement. Now with your permission, if I cannot be assisted by your complaints department, can I have this taken up with your dispute resolution department and can I have it in writing, I need to be shown where on my contract does it state that I cannot make payment arrangements. If your dispute resolution department does not help, I would like to take this up with the Ombudsman and get my political party EFF involved, as I see how MFC is continuously taking advantage of their black customers that are loyal to their brand.
