they asked me to send proof of insurance for my car on the 2nd of July 2025, if not they will increase my instalment to include insurance, on the 12 July i submitted the proof of my insurance as per their request, surprisingly on the 26 June 2025, I saw a debit order with extra money and call to find out why is my debit order higher that the initial sms ( 02 June 25) sent to me after the interest rate announcement of the decrease in the repo rate, i was told they have included insurance on my installment for what I don't know because i have sent them the proof of my insurance so i called again on monday the 30th June, just to follow up, I am told the need to 1st cancel the insurance and it will take 21 days to cancel it and then they will start the refund process, i then requested to speak to the manager with No luck and i was told he/she will call me since she/he is working from home and i asked for their contact but the guy was quiet on the line until the phone got cut. what an inconvenience you have caused me. I tried to call again today (1 July) with no luck the phone was busy until i decided to go to the branch in Braamfontein and I was assisted by Sibusiso who called and was told they only received my insurance letter today. the refund will be done in the next 14 working days. why I should pay 2 insurances in the 1st place i never agreed to your insurance, u decide for me and take my money without my concern.
