MFC are law breakers. Don't deal with them ever
I have an account with them. Due to covid, I was released of my contract as the company retrenched. I was harrassed 3 times a day within 1 week of my account not being paid for the first time ever. Then MFC sent me emails threatening repossession and stating clauses from the credit act. When I confirnted them, I was told I just needed an avidavit stating my situation and then they can help. A few days later I got my letter from the company I worked at and sent it to them. While dealing with a Ms Venter, I was offered to have my account frozen for 2 months, which I had accepted. This was only offered to me after a week of sending my documents and getting harrassed. I was told that they were on sick leave. I did not hear anything from this person again. Now I recieve smses stating that my account has been handed over for collection and I am liable for the collection fees of over R500. I will never do business with this company again and am waiting on my attorneys to assist. MFC will be paying my car off for me as they have breached their own contract and breached the National Credit Act.
