Inhumane finance company with no morals

MFC offered me a payment holiday of 3 months, which I accepted. My next debit order was to go off on the 1st of August, I had since been retrenched and asked for a months grace. Their email stated that if approved, the installment will be included in the next installments and will thus increase the monthly amount due. As requested, I sent off my retrenchment letter, insurance paperwork and a letter stating my position. No feedback whatsoever, besides an email stating that my email has been received.

After weeks of waiting, my first UIF payment paid out this morning. I head to the shops as my cupboards are literally empty, get to the till and my card is declined. Log on to my banking and see that MFC debited my account for the full installment amount.

I called in an spoke to an agent who advised that the payment cannot be reversed. I am a single mother, I do not have money to buy Electricity, nor to put food on the table.

I have since started working, and don't even have funds to put petrol in to get to work.

MFC have no empathy. What do they expect me to do?
