Ignoring National Credit Act
According to the National Credit Act "113. (1) At the request of a consumer or guarantor, a credit provider must deliver without charge to the consumer a statement of the amount required to settle a credit agreement, as calculated in accordance with section 125, as of a date specified in the request." I have requested a settlement quote on 25 June 2020 for settling my finance on the 2nd of October 2020. They are unable to supply this before the 4 of July 2020 (which is outside what the National Credit Act allows). A lady called to explain a constraint on their system, but the more I try to explain their system is contravening what the act allows, the more arrogant she became and basically trying to argue that they do not need to comply to what the act makes provision for, because their system is constrained. Totally unacceptable.
