I received a settlement letter from MFC to pay by the 7th of May and I did exactly that, however to this day I have not received my paid up later

I received a settlement letter from MFC to pay by the 7th of May and I did exactly that, however to this day I have not received my paid up later. I was told it would take 7 days, I followed up on the 17th of May and was advised it would take 48hrs hours. I called in again today and I am told it will take 7 days again and that I should follow up on the 27th of May!!! Can I just get my paid up later already?????
