Failed to notify client of expiry date of policy but had time to call for renewal

I had my service plan with nedbank mfc since the day I bought my car back in 2016 and renewals were done in between. They never told me there will be expiring date. In November 2022 they called me to renew policy which I declined and didn’t mention my policy were about to expire. I went for service in December and paid my own service because the policy expired while there were no notification or what so ever I would not recommend them to anyone.
