Extra vehicle installment deducted with no permission. Leaves the consumer vulnerable.

Nedbank has done me a solid one this month. I was one installment in arrears on my vehicle finance. I phoned and arranged for them to collect the arrear installment with their normal installment for June.

To my surpise, 3 debit orders went off this month, leaving me with my medical aid not going off, as well as unpaid fees on a already expensive R400 monthly maintenance fee for my account. Best is, I get penalized daily for not having fees in my account.

Who gave Nedbank the right to deduct an extra installment? Will Nedbank pay my medical costs while my medical went unpaid due to their greed? Who will be responsible for all these unpaid fees now?

Best is that I've phoned Nedbank and the consultant can't provide me with answers because 'he doesn't possess the knowledge/information'

How should I, the consumer, have answers when your staff can't even assist?

I demand my refund and unpaid fees to be reversed immediately. Should I or any of my family members get sick or injured, just know that Nedbank is responsible for my medical aid costs due to my medical aid that wasn't deducted due to their greed.

Just a thought, name 1 middle class family that can afford 3 vehicle installments in a month? Quite ridiculous.
