Extra charges for an account handed over for an amount that's less than a month behind

Extra charges for an account handed to debt collectors. The most annoying thing I've had to experience lately, is the fact that I have been paying MFC and was behind by a month. Then they decided to hand over the account less than 1 month behind. Apart from this woman called Elsabe calling me like I owe her, there's the additional R500 that I have to pay for an account that's less than a month behind. She's annoying and it's annoying that I'm having to pay an extra R500+ for this.
