Exploitation?

I’m grateful to MFC that they helped me finance my car. They’ve been helpful with repayment restructuring whenever I needed to make such arrangements.

However, i have noted that my repayment record shows me starting at a principal of R164 731,51, when, in fact, the total amount financed is R160 697.00. In September 2016, the principal balance went up by roughly R2000.00. I’ve asked the FSP to clarify this discrepancy, but Mr Edmond du Toit keep repeating that the initial agreement is R160 697.00 and that everything is in order.

I need the FSP to explain why is it that my payments as recorded in my payment history start at R164 731 when the agreed amount is R160 697. How did the principal debt rise by close to R2000 in September 2016? I just need an explanation as all of this affects the interest earned by the FSP against my loan, which I have to pay.
