Executive Attention Needed: R5,000 Discrepancy Ignored Despite Proof of Payment
I am posting this in the hope that someone at the executive level will finally take ownership of this issue.
My brother's vehicle was written off, and the insurance company settled the account by paying R229,000. The insurer provided official proof of payment confirming the amount paid. Despite having this proof, MFC continues to claim that only R224,000 was received.
Instead of providing answers, MFC simply says they need more time to investigate. Five days later, there is still no resolution, no explanation, and no accountability.
This is not a complex matter. Either the payment was received in full or it was not. The documentation exists. Customers should not be left in limbo while MFC repeatedly delays and fails to provide clear feedback.
The absence of urgency, communication, and ownership is extremely disappointing. When dealing with customers who have already suffered the loss of a vehicle, empathy and efficiency should be the minimum standard.
Senior management needs to intervene, investigate this discrepancy immediately, and ensure that customers are not subjected to this kind of treatment in the future.
MFC, stop delaying and start resolving.
