Double December payment

I contacted MFC to deduct my December debit order on the 19th of December 2025 which was agreed telephonically. On the 23rd of December 2025 the debit order still hadn't went off so I called and I requested to do an EFT which they allowed and was advised to sent a POP after making payment which i did to avoid being double charged for the same thing. On the 2nd of January 2026 I was shocked to learn I have been debited. When I called MFC I was asked if I want a refund and that if I do, I will only get the refund between 5- 10 working days. I wouldn't advise anyone to use MFC to finance their vehicles
