Double debit order leaves me stranded

I was Double debited on my account,When i asked to reverse it, it was said it will take 10 working days.<br> Leaving me without any other money to buy necessities (food, pre-paid power) to survive for 10 working days.<br> Why does this take ten days to refund me?<br> Going to move away from MFC to another finance company.<br> This experience left a sour taste in my mouth<br>
