Disappointed in services

I phoned mfc today to ask for help restructuring my loan to have only 1 month break as all the increases and other cost were getting too much and I needed to use the funds elsewhere to help easy my financial strain only for one month my finance amount has increased by almost R2000 In a year with all the increases !!!! I was told I most likely won't be approved based on the reason I gave ! This is terrible that I'm phoning before missing payments to make arrangements but Mfc is already saying they might not help. So looks like my only option is too look into selling my car or not pay and deal with the consequences as calling to make arrangements clearly doesn't help either
